Calorie Clinic membership is available to adults ages 18 and older in the state of California. We are in the process of expanding care to reach patients in other US states soon.

Your safety is our top priority at Calorie Clinic. Our licensed providers use proven, evidence-based treatments and only prescribe FDA-approved medications when appropriate. We do not use compounded medications. We also use secure systems to protect your information and closely monitor your care to make sure you’re getting safe, effective results.

Our team manages the insurance process on your behalf and works with the majority of major plans to ensure seamless access to care. For those with commercial insurance, medication copays are commonly around $25-$50 per month, depending on individual coverage. Medicare currently covers certain GLP-1 medications for qualified patients under Medicare GLP-1 Bridge program for part D beneficiaries for a flat $50 copay if qualified.

For Kaiser patients, Medi-Cal patients, or patients who do not use insurance, monthly membership starts at $49 for the first month, then $99 per month after, not including cost of medication. Our Calorie Clinic provider will navigate the available manufacture discounts to get the best price possible.

Most lab work is covered by insurance, though copays may apply. For patients who do not use insurance, we provide discounted lab testing for a flat $45 through Quest Diagnostics.

We proudly care for patients regardless of insurance status. If medication coverage is limited or unavailable, our providers will work closely with you to identify manufacture discounts or effective and cost-conscious alternatives. We do not currently prescribe compounded medications.

Patients who do not wish to use insurance can access a comprehensive lab panel for a flat $45 through our preferred partner, Quest Diagnostics.

Many patients using GLP-1 medications such as Wegovy may lose around 10% of their body weight within 6 months and up to 15% within 12 months. GLP-1/GIP Medications like Zepbound may lead to weight loss of up to 20%. Results vary and are not guaranteed.

Weight loss is highly individual and depends on your treatment plan, medication, and lifestyle factors. For the best and most sustainable results, we recommend a comprehensive 12-month program. Your Calorie Clinic team will work closely with you to create a personalized plan and support you every step of the way.

If GLP-1 therapy isn’t appropriate, your provider will design a personalized weight loss plan using alternative medications, targeted lifestyle strategies, continuous glucose monitoring, and other advanced tools to optimize your results.

We recommend recent lab work before starting most weight loss medications, but it’s not required. You can use labs from the past 6 months or we can order them for you.
